The Maynard Community Gardeners (MCG) are hosting their 24th Annual Plant Sale on Saturday May 19th at the corner of Maple and Summer Streets in Maynard from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. MCG’s plant sale is the group’s biggest fundraising event of the year and a great way to kick off the growing season by providing novice and seasoned gardeners alike with a large variety of plants to choose from.
All of the plants are either donated by those who want to share their abundance or from Brigham Gardens, and the event promises a wide variety of flowers, vegetables, hanging plants, perennial’s, annuals, herbs, and bushes to get your spring garden underway.
In addition to selling plants to the public at the Plant Sale, the Maynard Community Gardeners take care of the flower buckets & planters at the town library and in downtown Maynard including Maplebrook Park and decorate the traffic triangle at Nason & Main Streets. New members can also join MCG at the event and can get more information about volunteering.
