Due to the approaching storm, Town Hall, the library and the council on aging office are closing at noon today. The Commuter Shuttle is running as scheduled and trash and recycling collections are also on schedule.
As the storm intensifies, avoid parking in the street to allow plowing operations to proceed smoothly. Please help dig out fire hydrants and storm drains in your neighborhood. Be aware of children playing in the streets, particularly climbing on or running out from behind large snowdrifts. Clear exhaust vents from Direct Vent Gas Furnace Systems to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Use care around any downed power lines, assuming a down wire is a live wire. As always, be sure to check in on neighbors, especially the elderly.
For the most up-to-date storm information, please call the Town’s Emergency Information Line at 978-897-1332. Thank you, and stay safe and warm throughout the duration of the storm.
